Nursery Design- Story Book Spaces

Recently I was asked to participate in a great Nursery Design collaboration with Tiny Prints which also partnered with Home Decorators and Home Depot.  I was among other fantastic designers that created beautiful schemes for real expecting mamas.

Designing a nursery took on a whole new meaning now that I am a mom, and I know how important having a beautiful and functional room for you and your little one is.  It creates a backdrop for this new stage in your life that is so meaningful.  You and your sweet bundle will spend lots of time in this space so make it pretty and make it inspiring.

Sooo… for this fun challenge, I selected decorative as well as furniture pieces for a blogger in Boston  Sarah from , she loved a coastal vibe, enjoyed preppy elements and loved the color blue.  The couple was expecting a baby boy and I could not be happier for their little bundle to join their lives!!  In addition to helping create a space based on their desires and needs, I got to also select a birth announcement by tinyprints.  Those are always so fun to choose from as there are sooo many good ones.

The whole story was inspired by nursery rhymes and the nursery I created was “Row, row , row your boat” (how cute is that!) 🙂   Make sure to check out the whole “article” there is a ton of ideas, tips and fantastic sources. Each nursery is unique and special for each “client” (baby and mama blogger) created by some amazing designers.

Whether you are mama-to-be or just love décor, take a peek and I promise you will be inspired 🙂 Click here to read whole article (Storybook Spaces)
