I always love to see a great transformation don’t you?!
When I work with my clients each project is a bit different. Some projects consists of single rooms and some of multiple rooms or full homes. These projects vary in nature from Chicago lofts to Suburban homes and also how much is involved. Sometimes a client has some pieces that they want to incorporate in the design of the space and sometimes we are starting completely fresh from building walls to choosing finishes, furnishings and the smallest details. There are also those clients that really don’t know how to pull their space together and might have some really good pieces in place but we need to revisit some areas, maybe reupholster some pieces, put up some great wallpaper or change the wall color and maybe replace a chandelier and a mirror and accessorize.
Well in today’s before and after we have a small entry vignette. This client is a true joy , and I worked with her/them on many other rooms in so many different facets, but this one is also very important as it’s in the front of the house 😉 . As we were working on other rooms we decided to update the front entry vignette by simply switching out the mirror and some accessories.
Although the entry is large this vignette is rather small and it needed some pretty moments. In the “Before” notice the mirror is way overscale and the finishes clash. We needed some interest in finishes, textures, and some artistic objects to add the sculptural element to that area and we achieved it by selecting the right mirror and accessories 🙂
It really makes such a difference and we are so pleased with how it came out 🙂
Hope you enjoyed this Before & After!
